DONNELLY DEBUTS MONDAY’S ‘MO’ DURING THE SECOND WEEK OF MOVEMBER
November 8th, 2010 - 5:55pm
This year over 4,400 men will die of prostate cancer in Canada and one in six will be diagnosed during his lifetime. During November, thousands of men from across the globe will participate in the Movember campaign and grow mustaches to raise awareness and funds to fight this disease.
On November 1st, I joined the New Democrat Moustaches For a Cure team. As many of you know, my friend, federal NDP leader Jack Layton recently went public with his personal fight against prostate cancer.
For more information about the campaign, visit my “mospace” page at http://ca.movember.com/mospace/986112/
All donations received will go to Prostate Cancer Canada and will help to fund awareness, education and support programs for those afflicted with prostate cancer in addition to research into detection, prevention and treatment.
Please join the campaign - together, we can ‘change the face of men’s health’.
